Ahead of her highly-anticipated appearances next week at SXSW, which includes stops at Showtime’sTwin Peaks-themed showcase, the Aussie-lead Laneway Festival showcase, a coveted spot on the bill at NME’s official showcase—Portland native Alexandra Savior is treating fans to a slew of new this week! Unveiled today, both the official album artwork, which she painted herself for her upcoming debut album, as well as a new song, “Vanishing Point.”  The hypnotic new track is lifted from Savior’s new record, Belladonna Of Sadness, which is due out April 7th 2017 via Columbia Records.

 Portland native Alexandra Savior has delivered yet another unique and cinematic video, this time for her latest release “Mirage.”  Out today on all digital platforms, the gorgeous new single is taken from her anxiously awaited forthcoming debut album “Belladonna of Sadness,” which drops worldwide April 7thon Columbia Records.

The 21-year-old will be taking her live band on the road making stops at SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX, Bonnaroo Festival and Boston Calling, Primavera Sound plus headlining shows in London, Paris and Berlin this April .
 
Alexandra’s unique sound and style first caught the attention of several creative forces including T. Bone Burnett who placed her song, "Risk," in the most recent season of HBO’s cult series, “True Detective.” In addition to this Alexandra also co-wrote the most recent Last Shadow Puppets’ single, "Miracle Aligner" along with the erstwhile Arctic Monkey, Alex Turner.
 
An artist in every sense of the word, not only does Ms. Savior write music and perform live, she also paints her own artwork and writes, directs and edits her own music videos. “Belladonna of Sadness” was written Alexandra and co-produced by British rock front-man Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys/Last Shadow Puppets) and James Ford (Haim/Florence and the Machine).

Debut Album Drops April 7th, 2017

Portland based artist Alexandra Savior is gearing up for an exciting 2017. She was previously announced as support for the revered singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Hamilton Leithauser on his North American tour. This run started on Sunday with a sold out show in Phoenix followed by two nights of sold out shows in Los Angeles. Savior is set to appear at this year’s SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.

16/09/16 Alexandra Savior Makes Directorial Debut With "M.T.M.E" Official Video

 Today, American artist Alexandra Savior debuted her first ever official music video, accompanying her sensational latest release “ M.T.M.E. An artist in every sense of the word, the talented Ms.Savior also directed the video, which premiered today worldwide. "We made the video in a steamy studio apartment in east Los Angeles. I started off a little over ambitious, but in the end a good set of tricks were able to spark and we got 3 minutes of something." The 21-year-old Portland, OR born solo artist explains of making the video.


M.T.M.E.” (which premiered on Huw Stephen’s BBC Radio 1 show) is the impressive follow-up track to her critically acclaimed debut “Shades” which quickly put Alexandra on the musical map earlier this year. With her unique sound and impeccable style, Alexandra has already caught the attention of several creative forces including T.
