Announce 'Begin' - the appropriately titled first single from the debut album

We've known about Leeds band APOLLO JUNCTION for a while. They've been crafting their music to plaudits from many a personality such as Graham Norton and Gareth Bale who described them "as my new favourite band".

They have spent the last year bankrupting themselves by recording their debut album, and happily admit to "nearly killing each other" However,  it's now done and in the bag. AND THE WAIT AND ALL THE PAIN WAS WORTH IT!  The first single is the stomping, filled with bravado earworm that is "BEGIN". A debut single that is the most self-assured debut we've heard in a long time. Janice Long debuted it on her BBC show last week and BBC 6 are also giving it some well-deserved love and attention. The band have sessions booked with Janice and a  tour to announce soon alongside a number of festival appearances. There'll also be a video mid-April in the meantime check  out the video for This Could Be The Day below

Apollo Junction’s songs capture the euphoria of electro-dance music mixing with strong guitar hooks, driving bass and passionate vocals. From New Order through Giorgio Moroder, to The Cure, The Charlatans and Daft Punk, Apollo Junction uses their influences to write insanely memorable, hugely uplifting tunes. These five schoolmates from Leeds have caught the attention of everyone from Radio DJs to the national press to film directors and TV producers. With their big-hearted indie pop electronica, they are poised to deliver a debut album this year, and a fistful of singles to whet the appetite.

Apollo Junction spent 2016 putting demos and videos out into the webosphere, and in doing so gathered plaudits far and wide. Their songs ‘If I Fell’, This Could Be The Day’ and ‘Born For Now’ were described by Little Indie Blogs as “pop masterpieces” and“Delicious synth laden sounds complimented by catchy and anthemic songwriting, I can just hear this being sung by thousands on a sunny day at Glastonbury”- Fresh On The Net BBC 6.. Playing ‘live’ they perform electro, indie, guitar-inspired songs infused with tuneful melodies with a mission to get audiences dancing.

Apollo Junction songs featuring on MTV’s U.S. hit reality show ‘Are You The One’ and in the upcoming movie ‘The Big Promise’ directed by award-winning Mexican director J R Suarez.
