PREMIERE NEW VIDEO 'ANIMAL HEART'

ALBUM 'SYNESTHESIA' OUT NOW VIA WARNER MUSIC

Warner Music Canada recording artists Courage My Love have premiered a new video for 'Animal Heart' with Rock Sound.  The track is taken from their debut album Synesthesiawhich is out now.

Singer Mercedes says "For this video we were very inspired by 70s and 80s style horror movies, VHS, glitches, and pushing the boundaries of the contrast between beauty and the unsettling. We wanted to flip the script of the hunter and the hunted. We wanted to embody the feeling of animalistic, monstrous lust and explore the dark side of love. The lyrics of Animal Heart are about a love so passionate, that it causes you to regress into a jealous, obsessive version of yourself. The video concept is a creature that takes the form of a beautiful woman to seduce and trap her prey. We filmed this video in Paris, France while on tour with the help and vision of one of our new favourite artists: Polygon1993. We hope you enjoy!"

NEED SOMEONE VIDEO

Warner Music Canada recording artists Courage My Love have premiered a new video for "Need Someone' with Kerrang.com.  The track is taken from their debut album Synesthesia out 19th May 2017. See below for further details on their album!

"Need Someone is a song that means a lot to the 3 of us for different reasons. It's really close to our hearts, and I think the message is very relatable to a lot of people.

We've all tried to be there for someone who doesn't value you the way you value them. We've all seen ourselves through someone else's eyes and let their perception of us tarnish the way we see ourselves.   We all know the pain of allowing ourselves to be vulnerable to someone, and not receiving the same in return.   That being said, we wanted the video to show a different side of us to our fans.   We wanted to be very raw and vulnerable, human.  The message of the video is to learn to love yourself, regardless of the way others treat you." Mercedes of the band told us

UK & EUROPEAN TOUR DATES

Warner Music Canada recording artists Courage My Love have announced a European release date for their debut album Synesthesia out 19th May 2017.

Recorded in Toronto at Noble Studios and Pocket Studios, Synesthesia introduces a new arsenal of sounds for the Kitchener, Ontario, based trio who have made a name for themselves and built a strong following on a number of tours across North America and Europe.

Defined as a blending of the senses where the stimulation of one sense leads to an automatic, involuntary reaction in another, like hearing in colour, Synesthesia was titled to reflect Courage My Love's newfound stylistic maturity.

Courage My Love were first discovered at a 2010 Battle of the Bands in Stratford, Ontario. The band’s independently produced video for the song “Bridges” amassed over 2.9 million views. Director Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) was among the many fans that had discovered their music. The band signed with Warner Music Canada in 2011 and in 2012 Alternative Press Magazine pegged them as one of the bands to watch that year. In 2014, the band’s first two EPs, For Now and Becoming, earned them a 2014 JUNO Awards nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year and later that summer Courage My Love joined the Vans Warped Tour across North America.

The band have announced a UK tour in May and June. Full dates below:

Front woman Mercedes Arn-Horn told us, "We're so excited and proud to be heading out on our first ever UK / European tour! This is something we've been trying to make happen for years now. Our fans over there have been so patient and supportive, we can't wait to finally come to them and thank them all in person. See you out on the road!”

The band's latest effort 'Becoming', was re-issued last spring as a full LP with 6 additional tracks via InVogue Records.

The Kitchener, Canada band consists of twin sisters Mercedes Arn-Horn (vocals, guitar) and Phoenix Arn-Horn (drums. vocals) with their friend Brandon Lockwood (bass).

Call them a power trio, pop-punk, alternative metal. As you wish. They grew up on it all. But while you are jumping around and banging your head with abandon, don’t miss the message: They have no appetite for destruction. They do not seek to destroy. No, Courage My Love is here to uplift, inspire.

The trio is putting the finishing touches on their next album which will released later this year on InVogue Records
