Announces debut album ‘Villains’

Rising pop star Emma Blackery has today announced the release of her highly anticipated debut album Villains, due out on August 31st through her own RWG Records label. The album is available for pre-order now via Emma’s webstore alongside limited edition red vinyl and special merchandise and bundles.

To celebrate the announcement Emma has released the video for her new single ‘Agenda’. The video finds Emma coming up against harsh art critics and breaking free from their constraints in a burst of neon and pastel colours.

Rising pop star Emma Blackery has today released her brand new single ‘Agenda’. The sharp and sassy pop anthem celebrates self-confidence and saying goodbye to those who don’t appreciate you.

Toby Scott (Little Mix, Girls Aloud, The Saturdays) has produced ‘Agenda’, and was also behind Emma’s recent single ‘Dirt’. ‘Dirt’ has had over a million streams and the video, featuring vengeful dance routines and plenty of attitude, has almost hit that milestone too. The track received great support from Spotify who launched the single in the Top 20 of their New Music Friday playlist. The song also peaked at number 5 in the Spotify Viral Chart, holding a Top 10 position for over a week.

Regarding the release of the new single Emma says, “I’m so excited for you all to hear ‘Agenda’. I’m so proud of it and can’t wait to perform it on my UK and European tour in October.”

Both tracks are taken from Emma’s debut album due for release in autumn this year. In support of its release the Essex-born singer will be touring the UK and Europe extensively, which will finish with a headline show at London’s KOKO on October 25th. Full headline tour dates can be found below:

ANNOUNCES UK/EUROPE HEADLINE TOUR - RELEASES NEW ACOUSTIC VERSION OF ‘DIRT’

Rising pop star Emma Blackery has announced an extensive UK and European headline tour for October 2018. To mark the announcement the Essex-born singer has released an acoustic version of her huge new single ‘Dirt’.

The new version is a more mellow take on the sassy pop anthem, which has had just under 800,000 streams since its release, while the video, featuring vengeful dance routines and plenty of attitude, has clocked up almost a million views. The track peaked at number 5 in the Spotify Viral Chart, holding a Top 10 position for over a week.

The track is the follow up to last year’s Magnetised EP, which catapulted her to international fame after being used in the international reveal of the iPhone X, and in support of which she completed a UK headline tour finishing with a sold out date at Shepherds Bush Empire. Emma has now announced an extensive UK and European tour this October, starting in Oslo and finishing with a show at London’s Koko. Full dates can be found below.
