Following the success of their previous two singles, Leeds based MUGEN are set to release their third single, the title track from their debut COME AND GO EP.

MUGEN are newcomers to the thriving Leeds music scene, yet have already received support from RECORD OF THE DAY and BBC INTRODUCING. Further afield, the band have been picked up by blogs in Australia and, more recently, were flown out to Amsterdam to write at a music camp as part of the AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT – no small feat for a young band so early into their career and a clear indicator of their diversity and strength of song writing.

The new single, COME AND GO, will be launched at the LEEDS 360 CLUB on FRIDAY 10 NOVEMBER, where fellow upcoming Leeds band LOUX will release MEET ME HALFWAY, their own new single. MUGEN will follow this with a live session at BBC INTRODUCING WEST YORKSHIRE on 11 November.

Recorded by Leeds-based producers Jamie and Lee at Greenmount Studios – Pulled Apart by Horses, Post War Glamour Girls, The Cribs etc – and mastered by Peter Maher – Jack White, Lana Del Rey, U2 and The Rolling Stones no less – this third offering from MUGEN is a rougher, grungier take on their truthfully unique brand of indie rock.

COME AND GO also signals the halfway point in the band’s first EP, with two more tracks to follow, including the final single from the EP, GOING DOWN, set for release with specially curated content designed for Android and the iPhone. MUGEN are also set to head into the studio again soon to record their next EP.
