It’s been a hectic eighteen months for London’s The Big Moon. Mapped out largely on the road across the US, Europe, and on repeat tours of the UK, the four-piece have firmly cemented their status
as one of Britain’s best new bands, culminating in the release of one of the albums of the year so far, and a string of sold out shows including London’s Village Underground.
Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut, the band are pleased to announce a new run of 20 dates stretching across the UK throughout September / October. Taking them to previously
un-visited parts of the country. Starting in Coventry on the 23rd of September and finishing in London at KOKO on the 20th October - the band’s biggest headline show to date.
Recorded over the past few months by photographer Jodie Canwell, collating the band’s performances of Cupid on Brighton Pier from the band’s recent slot at The Great Escape, at London’s Village
Underground and at The Scala, it captures The Big Moon at their scintillating best, and having more fun than anyone else whilst doing it.
Cupid is just one song amongst an entire set of live favourites, and it’s release sets the band up nicely for their forthcoming festival schedule, having kicked it all off to a heaving tent at
Glastonbury last month.
Following the Spring release of their critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Love In The 4th Dimension’ (out now via Fiction Records), The Big Moon take to the road across the globe for the
foreseeable future, as one of Britain’s most exciting young live propositions.
