London’s genre-blurring DIY band Totally announce the release of their forthcoming seven inch single this December 1st on Wild Horse Records.
The single follows the band’s 2016 debut 'Falling Apart', which was placed on Apple Music’s Indie A-List.
New single 'Moonlit Memory' retains the pulse-like rhythms and expansive guitars of 'Falling Apart' with vocalist Jades’ distinctive, R&B voice again working in harmony — at times in four parts with the rest of the band. Lyrically the track continues the band’s melancholy storytelling and sonically retains the warmth of the band’s early demos — returning to a fully analogue recording — via Younghusband’s Euan Hinshelwood’s 24-track tape studio, Vacant TV.
The forthcoming Double-A seven inch will also feature the track 'Ghost Away'.
The band will headline a Bird on The Wire show at the Waiting Room in December:
Wednesday 13th December - The Waiting Room, Stoke Newington(tickets)
Totally are a five-piece who have quietly amassed a loyal audience since their formation in late 2015. Each member brings their own influences and life experience to the project, resulting in a sound which draws from DIY, sixties girl groups, Australian guitar pop and 90s R&B to result in something completely fresh.
Wild Horse Records is a new Australian/London label rearing the untamed and interesting, celebrating the free-roaming and unclassifiable.
